Affinity Finance International
What is it?
Affinity Finance International is an analytical publication produced by Finaccord, originally launched in September 2003 and issued each quarter from autumn 2005 onwards, focusing on key developments and innovations in affinity, partnership and worksite marketing in retail financial services in Europe. Each issue contains a combination of interviews, analysis and news focusing on affinity, partnership and worksite marketing schemes with coverage of both local, tactical initiatives and high level, strategic moves.
The only publication dedicated exclusively to affinity, partnership and worksite marketing in Europe, Affinity Finance International is based on an on-going program of primary research into the subject. On a regular basis, we carry out interviews with leading executives involved in affinity, partnership and worksite marketing schemes, including those with both financial services institutions and the organisations with which they partner.
What does it cover?
Among the key issues evaluated on a quarterly basis are:
- the extent to which partnerships with not-for-profit partners, such as charities, professional associations, sports clubs and trade unions, can migrate from affinity cards to other areas of retail financial services, such as general insurance;
- the growth potential for employee-focused worksite marketing schemes, embracing flexible and voluntary benefits, across the full retail financial services spectrum in the UK and Europe;
- the degree to which the brands of other types of commercial partner, such as automotive manufacturers, media entities, retailers, telecoms firms, travel companies and utilities (electricity, gas, water) are being leveraged in the financial services domain;
- partnerships forged between financial services institutions for strategic or tactical reasons including the latest bancassurance initiatives and "white labelling" arrangements;
- factors that determine success or failure in affinity, partnership and worksite marketing of retail financial services including partner choice, branding issues, marketing capabilities and long-term sustainability of partnering ventures.
What research has it published so far?
